Just got back from business trip and came straight to hospital. Brady is still having a hard time in breathing and is having to use the big ventilator. Hes complaining that it hurts to breath and he cant get a full breath of air, then it sets him off into feeling anxious. Hes also does have any control of his kidneys and bowels. Hes not able to feel when needs to go, it just happens. He is also having the continuous problem with his tummy aching and feeling nauseous. Its so hard for him to understand why he is going thru all these things when a couple of weeks ago we were talking about him going to the 12th and going home. Along with everything going on, he is so depressed and feels hopeless. I try to talk to him to keep him calm and work him thru the anxious feeling and pray with him that he will get better soon. I let him know that god has a good plan for him and he is not going to be like this forever. Even thou I tell him this, he needs the reassurance very day that there is light at the end of the tunnel. He has gone backwards so much that he isnt getting out of bed anymore. We keep trying to get him to set on edge of bed or chair but no doing. This is so disturbing for everyone especially Brady. This morning him and I prayed that god will place his hand on Bradys body and heal his lungs and stomach and everything else going on. Brady felt better afterwards. Brandi was so exhausted last night, that she needed a break. She is a great little mama and been here with Brady every step of the way. This journey has been almost 5 months. You would think that the doctors could tell us something or why all this is happening. I guess at this point we are very thankful for all the knowledge and hard work of the doctors and nurses that has gave him back to us. At one point we werent sure if he would ever talk to us again. I dont want to sound unappreciative but we are ready for this journey to be over. Brady has lost 3 more pounds and each day he seems to be getting worse. Hes getting weaker and no one knows what to do for him. If anyone can give us some insight please do. Thank you for all your love and support
