Just got back from dropping john off at work...another busy day ahead of me. Alison is coming down to do a good cleaning in the cabin for me....a lot of low areas I cant get on my knees for and its time to do a fall clean up in the yard. Pull out my pitiful veggies from their containers & prep them for autumn displays, clean out the fire pit to make room for up coming bonfires, cut the grass & trim which should be the last time for thee year. Then head across the road and do the same....nice thing there is the yard isnt as large:-) No more hummers by me so feeders will be taken down, scrubbed & put away til next year then arrange the seed feeders in view through the patio doors so I can watch the birds while sitting in the living room. Yes, I actually am looking forward to see the birds while its snowing:-) John got a start on cutting/splitting our firewood....glad we have as much as we do. Hearing all the different forecasts its going to be another winter like last year.....one thing I know and am thankful for is the wood/gas stove in the cabin.....she sure keeps it nice and warm in here! Well starting to settle down & get sleepy again...try for a couple more hours of sleep......
