Just got back from having dinner with Ellen, Michael & Landric. We had Indian food in Monroeville, PA, just east of Pittsburgh. Landric is the little one ... check out his expression in the last picture! Everyone should get to look like that after dinner! Thanks to Ellen & Michael for treating ... it was great to see them & to meet Landric for the first time! It was a short ride today, but I got my exercise. Pittsburgh is hilly like San Francisco ... also a very pretty place. It was kind of intense riding through the city, including a stretch of highway, AND a tunnel! That was the fastest I have ridden the entire trip! So, only 56 miles today ... which puts me 56 away from the 3000 mark (2944)! Not sure yet where Im heading tomorrow, but it will be on hwy 22 & I expect Ill begin climbing the Allegheny mountains, part of the Appalachian range. I found various knives today (& a dish) (for Fido) (see previous posts), but didnt really spot any critters. However, in a separate post, Ill show you some cool swamp pictures ...
