Just got back from long 8 hours drive on the Polaris Huntman HO - TopicsExpress

Just got back from long 8 hours drive on the Polaris Huntman HO 440 Quad bike thoughout Siem Reap. It been so long since I have ridden on the Quad, but after like 5 minutes, I was ripping and roaring my way though the villages, rice paddies and endless puddles and potholes everywhere. I really had lot of fun and unfortunably I did not take many pictures, since I was just having so much fun ripping though the trails and walkways on the Quad. We encountered near the end of the trip, the collapsed bridge, and there was a makeshift walkway, but it is too rickey and too narrow for the quad to go though. So I look down the riverbank, and sort of estimated what it would take to get across. I said, The Buddha on Wheels will conquer it! The guide and few villagers looked on while I backed the quad up a bit to reposition it, and then gunned the engine. I flew off the riverbank and landed with a huge splash and plomp into the muddy river, sinking the bike halfway into the mud. The guides started to move to me, and I waved them off. I shifted into the AWD mode, backed it up a bit, churning up mud and water everywhere to get some traction and then I shifted into forward, and then gunned it, racing up the otherside, nearly flying into the barbed wire. I stopped quickly and turned, narrowly missed the villager and then gunned it, perched perilously on the edge, wheels spinning, inching forward to the trail and then made it back on it. I looked back and laughed, since I noticed that I have sprayed nearly everyone in water and mud from my mad attempt to cross the riverbank that is not really made for the quad bikes in the first place, due to such narrow space. Motorcycles, yes, but quad bikes, no. :) I proved them all wrong! We continued on and we arrived back in Siem Reap at their HQ. Everyone at the HQ came out and started laughing when they saw me, all muddy, caked in red dirt, my glasses all dirty and a huge grin on my face. I know I going to have some serious sunburn for next few days due to being out all day on Quad, but it is really the highlight of the trip in Cambodia of all so far. Now, going to party a bit tonight and then head out to Myanmar tomorrow to Yangon.
