Just got back from my show in Porcupine. I had such a great time at the Protect Unci Maka(Mother Earth) Gathering. Met lots of cool people. Im so honored to be a part of community gatherings. I was in awe of a young performer named Leo for his spoken word set. There was a tea tasting contest, farmers market(Yay for fresh veggies), chili soup, buffalo soup, and I learned how to make butter from scratch(all beaming with pride). Ladonna made the most amazing cornbread ever! To see the good things the community of Porcupine is involved in just makes me even more proud to be Lakota. SO FRICKIN COOL!! Thank You Ladonna and Ika for inviting me to share my music.
