Just got back from the hospital, get all my testing and was examined. Kidney transplant team nephrologist said I was physically fit to receive a transplant. I still have to more hurdles to get over, first the deceased donor kidneys must be accepted by the team and then they cross Match testing will be done for compatibility. I have took fast tonight as if I am going straight to surgery tomorrow morning. I will be informed of the condition of this kidney by 5 AM.. I was told that The deceased donor is from the Marshall islands. I am a bit excited but mostly nervous. Dear God, give me strength and guidance to get through this whole process, even if I am not compatible I am grateful to have made it this far...
