Just got brave and am redying my hair with the left over purple/blue mix of manic panic. The back was fading out a lot and I wasnt sure I liked the paler colour. I will leave it in for several hours rather than the half hour recommended as that is what we had to do last time to get it to stick properly. Wish me luck! Might end up looking like a Purple Tabby! Doing my whole head as that is easier when doing it bymyself then a half head. I am hoping the dark underneath colour will stay dark, with just a purple sheen and the original purple half head (which was bleached prior to the colour going in originally) will go back to what it was. I suspect however that the top of my head will also end up darker as that was no where near as faded as the back. But I figure no matter, Will just give me an ombre look, which is what a lot of people do anyway. Just finished scrubbing my hands and sink and bathroom floor with bleach and toothpaste, as despite my best efforts I still manged to get dye everywhere! And this stuff stains!!!
