Just got called by someone who identified himself as a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton. I said, it seems a little premature to talk about giving Hillary money given that, you know, shes not yet declared shes running in 2016. The guy tells me shes not only running, but already has the nomination. I said, what are you talking about - the convention is two years away and she most definitely does not have the nomination. He said, no youre wrong, she already has the nomination. I said, that doesnt even make sense. Then he said, the minute the midterm election results are in, Hillary is immediately going to declare and then visit every single state capital. [Editorial comment: If she does come to Alaska, which seems like a big waste of time and money to me given our voter demographics, shed be stupid to go to Juneau instead of Anchorage.] He said, as soon as she declares she will face an avalanche of negative advertising and needs to build up the funds now to combat it. By then, I was completely irritated. I said, look, I want to wait and see who actually runs for the Democratic nomination before I declare allegiance. He said, Joe Biden. Oh, I said, so maybe Hillary doesnt yet have the nomination. He said, not technically, but its obvious she will. Again I said, I want to wait and see who actually runs before I decide who to support. He said ok then in a very POd kind of way and hung up. WTF?????
