Just got done at the vets having Dochters hips/elbow xrays done. Everything looks great, should prelim OFA good or excellent. Not bad considering shes in standing heat, which generally causes increased joint laxity (subluxation) from hormonal variations. Shes not tattood and I couldnt remember if shed been chipped, so I told them to go ahead and check her and if not do it. Guess I should have told them to look in her records first. The did a quick shoulder area scan, didnt find a chip, so they re-chipped her. Then they took the x-rays, and there half way down the leg between the shoulder and elbow is a microchip. They checked her vet records after that, and they are the ones who chipped her for me about a year ago. So now she has both numbers in her medical records.
