Just got harassed by a Real Canadian Superstore employee. I paid for my stuff and I was waiting for my niece and nephew, because their self checkout machine broke down. They dont have bags, so I left my stuff in the basket while I waited for them. This woman says to me: Sir you cant take the basket outside Im nowhere near a door, and dont even look like Im about to leave, confused I replied: Uh, Im not, Im just waiting for them... Then she says You have to put the basket down, you already paid for your stuff, you have to leave it here I say No, Im using it to carry my stuff for now, and then Im putting it over there Pointing to a big pile of baskets Her No you have to leave the basket, you cant take it outside! Me I know, Im not leaving Im carrying my stuff because it makes it easier right now Her You cant take the basket outside!! Me Im not taking it outside! I just told you that three times! Her You have to put the basket over there right now! You are not allowed to have that basket! Me No, Im carrying my stuff in this basket and Im not putting it down, and Im not taking it with me either She calls security on me when I turn around to wait with my family while they fix the self checkout. She probably said that I cant take the basket outside about 5+ more times then I even wrote here, too.
