Just got home. Day 38 is marked with the my attendance to the Sunday Night Worship Service at the Holy Trinity Church Dubai which served as the Opening Worship of the Chaplaincys Annual General Meeting (AGM). May I then ask everyone to include in our prayers the success of this activity of our Church (Anglican Church) here in Dubai, UAE. I also met two persons there whose words to me were very remarkable. The 1st one is the wife of Father Ruwan who asked me to tell all the IFI members (Filipino Anglicans) that Holy Trinity is their Church here, tell them that we are their family here and we love them to be here with us. The 2nd person is Rudy. He is an Epicopalian in Palawan. He said that he has been looking for the Anglican Church here and he just found it last Friday but he was not very lucky that for it was the time when the mass was ending. But he was very to attend for the first time in the Church where he should be. In the not so long past, he was attending the mass at St. Marys Parish just like many other IFIans here. With these two remarkable and well-meaning persons short engagement with me tonight, may I then reiterate my call to all IFIans, Aglipayans, Independientes, Filipinistas or the Filipino Anglicans here in Duabai, Abu Dhabi and the rest of UAE to start coming to our homes and families here in the UAE, i.e. The Holy Trinity Church, in Dubai, The St Andrews Church in Abu Dhabi, St. Tomas in Al Ain and the one at Sharjah. God bless everyone!
