Just got home from Parkland Hospital, and Im wiped out! ~ The Surgery for my Trigger Finger began at 6Am this morning & went exceptionally well. 😃 but the repair of my Fractured wrist, developed into complications & last minute decisions... The fractured bone in my wrist had become so deteriorated that it could not be repaired, & simply had to be Removed! So they took bone from elsewhere in my arm, and grafted it, to replace the missing bone... The combination of anesthesia & the nerve-blocking injection made me dizzy & sick at my stomach for hours! 😖 But the surgery is finally completed, and Im now sporting my new Splint supported in my Sling! ~ In 2 weeks, theyll remove the splint, and the sutures, then Cast it for another 6 weeks. ~ Then the fun begins ... in Physical Therapy. ~ lol ~
