Just got home from a very relaxing week on the beaches of Sanibel Island Florida. It was wonderful. Really interesting island with sea shells galore. We sat on the beach, floated in the water, drank a few JD & cokes and Coronas. Yesterday morning two porpoises came in and floated around me for about five minutes. That was really cool. The water yesterday morning was like glass and the low tide was really low so we could walk about 150 yards with the water only being mid calf deep. We had brought our masks and snorkels but the first few days the water was way too sandy to use. So I ran and got mine and went out, but still was really not much use, so I was thinking damn I wish I had brought my sun glasses out with me, at about that time I felt a pretty good size conch shell with my foot and bent down to check it out, the shell was partially broken so I toss it back and reached back down to feel around and felt a what I thought was a wire, and pull out a set of fairly new set of ray ban aviator polarized sunglasses. So I wished and the sea provided. All I could think about was the Jeff Foxworthy bit on cheapskate sunglasses. I am sure some one was pissed when they lost them.
