Just got home from two days in Westfield, PA. Long drive and a depressed town. But the area surrounding this place is beautiful. The mountains are right behind the store. I left today and drove route 49 into New York to catch 15 south to come home. That took me right past the Cowanesque Lake which at 1086 acres is a beautiful sight. A man made lake from the 70s, the dam is made of a concrete facing and filled in with dirt. The water was beautiful, clear, and there were plenty of boats on it today. This is one of the few enjoyments I get out of traveling.
