Just got insight into the psychology of most southeasterners... its shocking but it explains why the Southeast is the posterchild of political underdevelopment in Nigeria: in fact Sigmund Freud would have been happy with my deductions. the other day a picture of buharis daughter caused an unprecedented Twitter storm. Normal guys like me commented on the ladys beauty. imagine my surprise when this morning I saw feedback this morning on the ndi igbo platform on Facebook on the picture. instead of seeing posts like OMG or Wow I saw things like ugly girl... she no fine reach my youngest daughter..... for the record: 70k Twitter followers in 4hrs is not beans... coming to the psychology of the whole matter. I honestly think the Igbo defeatist psychology has got to end. there is no civil war. this is not 1967!!! We cant keep calling the Hausas bigots when our levels of bigotry are alarming. when you see a good thing applaud it and when you see evil condemn it. and finally, I know Ill get a lot of flak from this but Im going to say it anyway: stop listening to your leaders for once and start thinking for yourselves. this ideology of one man as god was what lost the civil war... let us hold our leaders accountable and stop slinging political and ethnic jibber jabber... # cheers...
