Just got off of the phone with Dad. Pre op testing all went smoothly today. They told him that if all goes well, he may be able to skip rehab, and be driving 2 weeks after surgery. ..YIKES! Why did they have to tell him that? Have so got our work, MORE than cut out for us... with his ribs, shoulder and hand even more messed up from his fall a couple of weeks ago, and arthritis in his neck, compounded by a wired up sternum=enough discomfort and pain, that most likely will last longer than 2 weeks. ..but who knows. ...;) Will update with anything new, when I hear.
