Just got off the phone with Anthem Blue Cross and jeez my heart rate is through the roof. Polite but firm is my mantra but I just totally lost it and starting swearing at the rep. In July, Jeff had surgery for the complete fracture of his femur. We went to our network hospital but the surgeon, unknown to us, was out of network. Ive filed appeals and been calling Anthem about this every week for, oh, three months? Today they said they they had no record of any of my appeals. Then I asked to speak to a supervisor so they put me on hold for 15 minutes and I was disconnected. I think it is deliberate obfuscation. If you have a choice, dont choose Anthem Blue Cross.
