Just got released from the ER. The bleeding has stopped. It appears to have come from blood vessels which are extremely close to the skins surface. Why my blood is so thin that it flows so freely is undetermined. Apparently When I scratched an itch I breached a vessel. I have had clotting problems in the past but that was just slow clotting. My medication does not usually cause thin blood, but is the likely suspect. I am okay. I have been advised to stay away from aspirin and consult with my doctors.
