Just got that sobering e-mail and remembered that in the writing (and entertainment) industry the sea effect still very much applicable on me Was riding the high wave of awesomeness on Saturday after a great day of hearing the words I wrote at the auditions for a sitcom. And then the wave rolled me rolled me over and made me eat sand on Monday when I got the e-mail from an industry expert saying the script needed a lot of doctoring and was frankly sh*t. Although, not in such harsh words But repeating the words: "not good at all," "dialogue written for reading and not talking," "needs a lot of doctoring," etc. amounts for me to: it was frankly up to sh*t. Oh, well. Back to the "drawing board" and putting the surfboard for high waves away for a little while. Ai. And I was just beginning to get hopeful of riding more waves.
