Just got the best message ever. The owner of one of our female German Shepherds from the litter 2 yrs ago just wrote to tell me how she just alerted them to a fire on their property where their other dog, a Lab, was being kept. Tori came and got them and led them to where the pen was burning. And they were able to save their Lab from what probably would have been an awful death. This puppy was one of those little ones that you knew had something special...she had to be rescesitated twice and had a couple sezuires before she was 6 weeks old and I had really decided to keep her. But I fell in love with the families little girl and just knew her and Tori were meant to be. Its the days I hear things like this that make all the other days of what feels like living in a circus worth it. When I stare off into space while mayhem is going on around me and say...Exactly why is it do I raise GSDs??? that Im able to remember reports like this and say ..Oh yeah...thats why. :)
