Just got this note from the people who adopted Anastasia Blue. This is the sweet dog who lived on a chain with a chicken coop with no bottom for her shelter, and was fed scraps for her food, most of her life. THIS is why we ask you to share and reshare the dogs who need a voice. IT MATTERS, and IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE! Read ON!! Blue is doing great so far. She sleeps in her own bed without any problems since the first night. She is eating well...she eats dry dog food and Saturdays are treat days, so she receives Rice & Roasted chicken & vegetables. She enjoys spending her days playing outside with her toys, sniffing, exploring the yard, playing with our girls and us. Our neighbors daughter also comes over and play with her which she enjoys...she loves the attention!! She chased and killed a skunk!! I dont think she got sprayed but the scent was in the air and it was heavy. So we gave her a baking soda solution bath...which she HATED! LOL …We love how she howls/woo-hoos to get our attention and to give her what she wants! She is getting used to us as things are new to her, and I know everything will take time. We love her so much. She is an absolute joy to have. She looks like shes smiling in every picture...I think she is truly happy here with us. She is getting so much attention, good food, lots of attention, play, hugs, kisses & love...shes happy and that makes us happy! Our Anastasia Blue has found her place. We wish it were like this for every single one.
