Just got word that Dottie Escobedo-Frank and I are going to be authoring a book together! Details are being finalized with the publisher, but Im beyond excited this is happening. The book will be about the places where secular culture does a better job, than many churches do, of living out the practices and values of organized Christianity. It will be about what churches can learn, but also about the blurring of the lines between sacred and secular, and why thats a good thing. This project will combine a few of my passions: new urbanism, how we live into new ways of practicing faith in the 21st century, and how we build community together. Dottie is an amazing friend, mentor, leader, and author. Im honored to have this opportunity to collaborate with and learn from her.
