Just had a brief but very pleasant chat with ABC 7 Sports anchor Mark Giangreco at gate H-12 waiting fort flight to Charlotte NC and on to Wilmington to see my dear friend Hugo Duarte . My wardrobe was carefully selected and features a Hogs Breath fishing shirt symbolizing the start of a beautiful friendship. For protection from the chill morning is a pullover fleece from Wyntoon CA and a very very special show Hugo fronted along with Emily Hutchison , Dave Matchette and David Joel Edmisten a few years back . And finally to top it all off perfectly is the beautiful and elegant black felt Resistol hat Hugo gave me as a gift. That hat is a true treasure. Tucked in the hat band are six one dollar bills lovingly folded by Hugo and tucked inside to make this beauty fit my head a little better. He said the hat and those dollar bills were to bring me luck alll my days. I hope it brings a smile to his face when he sees me wearing this afternoon. Im on my way. See you soon.
