Just had a conversation with my amazing coach, Shannon Graham. Among the copious amounts of awareness and transformation that came out of our call, theres something I feel deeply called to share with all of my friends who are also transformational leaders. The word GURU, in Sanskrit, simply means darkness remover. Many of us in this realm tell people not to call us gurus, as we dont want to be seen as better than. While thats still an accurate awareness, and were not on a different level than people just because we can support them in their greatness; its also doing a disservice to ourselves to not own the fact that we do remove darkness from this planet, and the beautiful souls that are traveling on it. So lets reclaim the word guru, yes?
