Just had a cute encounter at a traffic intersection :D as the lights turned green and I drove forward, bang in front of me was a couple trying to cross the road. As they vascillated wondering whether to go forwards or backwards, and I slowed down to see which way they would choose ... The guy suddenly let go of his wifes hand and ran across to the other side, leaving his wife stupified and embarassed to be stuck in the middle of the road. I braked and stopped to let the lady pass but also waved a mockingly admonishing finger at the husband who couldnt make up his mind whether to look cool or mortified. To tease them further, I rolled down my window and yelled to the wife...Does he do this to you often?? The wife nodded vigorously while the husband shook his head to indicate noooo... And all 3 of us burst out laughing... Before the rest of the traffic behind us started honking madly to dissipate the tableau. Human connections formed in under a minute. If I ever meet this couple again, I am so taking them out for coffee :D
