Just had a delicious home cooked Saturday night dinner---pinto beans, fried taters with an onion thrown in and a big old pone of cornbread. For our Saturday night entertainment, we are going down to the Kentucky Theatre to see the early movie, Twelve Years A Slave. By coincidence I am reading The Known World, a 2003 Pulitzer Prize winner by Edward P. Jones which deals with some of the same situations. Its a really enthralling book, dont know how I overlooked it all these years.
