Just had a great afternoon at the Red Lionin Cricklade ,Wiltshire. A Real Ale pub the products of which Ive sampled seven pints of different beers and still left a few untasted. It is however my current state of mind and attitude which is beginning to worry me. When paying for the last round of drinks costing £15.40 I offered the young lady behind the bar the 40p and challenged her to a fight for the £15.00.She pulled herself up to her full height of about 52 and I quickly backed down and gave her the £15.00. This follows an incident last week where in a well known department store I asked a young lady behind the sales counter for a xmas gift voucher for £25. When I asked her how much this would cost she looked a bit confused but finally came to the conclusion that it would cost me £25. I gave her the money but moaned that it seemed awfully expensive. She did in fact apologise for how much I had to pay but I said I knew it wasn.t her fault and wished her a merry xmas. Am I cracking up or am I just enjoying myself????
