Just had a great experience...stopped at St. Vincent dePaul thrift shop to find some cheap treasures and a little old lady, who reminded me so much of my Mom, was shopping also, and started talking to me about what she was looking for. Cheap things to fill her empty flower box outside. She was my shadow throughout the store, so as I observed what she was buying and her old clothes, my heart melted, and suddenly realized (again), that I have no Moms now Mom and June are in heaven, I started to get choked up. We said Merry Christmas to each other, as she went up to pay for her things. I decided to go up behind her and pay for her things. I thought the little old lady and the cashier were both going to pass out. I told her I lost my Mom and you remind me of her, and she hugged me and cried, as I did too. She came and hugged me again before she left the store and was crying so hard, she could not speak anymore. What a great feeling, to pay it forward, I wish I could afford to this every day! and soon after, I saw a worker give a man some money for his purchase also! I have always liked to give more than receive, so this is a great gift for me. ♥
