Just had a letter from the Red Cross asking for a donation to typhoon haiyan appeal.....set amount £50!! Ive donated 15 quid so far which is a lot on my titchy budget. Im surprised theyre asking for such a high amount. I have no doubt the money is needed and is helping no end but its a bit naughty I think asking for a steep amount like that. Generally I spend thirty quid a week on food shopping, ten each gas and electric so I know how precious finances are at the mo. Hats off to the Red Cross, please everyone do give what you can but I think their letter is a bit naughty asking for set donations THAT high
