Just had a little girl come sit next to whilst i was feeding Trystan on the black couches at coles, she asked me "what the little boy was doing" with which i responded with that he was having milk, she then asked "where the milk comes from" feeling a little unsure i simply said from me. There was no parent in sight until just as she went to ask her third question of "how does the milk come out" never got to answer her (for which i an glad about) but what startled me was what i noticed about her mother is that she was heavily pregnant. this girl being of approximately 5-6 at first when she approached me it was my nature to assume that she was used to breastfed babies but apparently not. now a little while ago i posted a link to an article about breastfeeding around children a good read.
