Just had a lousy angry S$6.50 Mee Goreng Ikan Bilis dinner from my now-ex-favourite Roti Prata kopitiam. The usually S$4.50 (which USED to be S$3) noodles was slimy and not well cooked at all, and they forgot to include the red chilli that I had requested so I couldnt mask the taste, and the Ikan Bilis (fried anchovies) were so tough and unchewable I felt my teeth were going to crack a couple of times. Then the Begedil (potato cake) I added turned out to cost S$2, when normally Begedils are around 50-80 cents each, simply because they contained some kind of fish. Which tasted sourish. And the Fried Egg that comes with the noodles was slightly burnt. I should have just cooked dinner myself. Gonna cleanse my palate with something. A Jagerbomb perhaps. Okay, rant over.
