His area of expertise was financing foreign operations. This is briefly mentioned in his memoir, Dreams From My Father. Then he pursues a foreign policy that solely benefits these corporations. Furthermore, when he ran for President, his number one private contributor was Goldman Sachs and he received almost twice the Wall Street contributions of John McCain. Then as soon as he gets elected he appoints a former Goldman Sachs lobbyist to Chief of Staff of the Treasury Department despite promising to hire no lobbyists.
