Just had a rush trip to Toowoomba, Sista in hospital. But getting there was a different story all together. If its going to happen to anyone, itll be me. The most wonderful boss, let me leave early to hasten my arrival. Left straight from work, didnt even change.said goodbye to Herbie, fueled car and headed off. Got to edge of Wallumbilla, alarms went off in car. Dash saying extremely hot. Check powertrain. Pulled over checked car. Now cooled off. Filled with water, which I always carry plenty. After 5 litres and still not full I noticed the water I was pouring in was pouring out the bottom. In the meantime I called my knight in shining armour. Who came to my rescue, swapped cars, told me to keep going, as he organised a car trailer to take the car home. Reached destination after 5 and a half hours . Lots of road works but fortunately got the green lights all the way. Herbie called to say bottom blew off the radiator. Has one order, will be here in the morning. Gotta love that man. Sista has a lot of pain, but is doing well.
