Just had a thought that is keeping me up. What if my cat is trying to turn the door handle to my bedroom every night because she is actually an elf princess that was changed into a cat by an evil, jealous witch, and the witch said she can only break the curse by eating a special bug at midnight, knowing evilly that I would always keep my cat locked in my room with me at night out of concern for her feelings of safety? What if Im denying the being that is my cat a life of complete happiness out of my incorrect perceptions in trying to appease her? What if I in my good moral attempts ended up spaying an elf princess and ending the royal bloodline due to my own misplaced zeal? The weight of these thoughts is crushing me into a diamond right now. I need to sleep.
