Just had a unfortunate incident! Rosey had her bag snatched on the road. Its not an uncommon event here and we should have been more guarded. A motorbike sneaks up behind your rickshaw then quickly pulls in close and the pillion rider snatches the bag lying passively on your lap. Then they roar away, two dark shapes on a black motorcycle with no number plate leaving you gasping and gesticulating in their wake. Not so much lost- Roseys phone, our small digital camera, books and notes for school, but very annoying. Rosey has reported the loss at the local Thana (Police Station) and they were diligent in making a report but really I dont expect any positive outcome. If you know Rosey you will know that right now she is a cross little bunny and will take a little while to get over it. My reaction is that it could have been worse. She could have been pulled off the rickshaw and been badly hurt!
