Just had an interesting debate on a comic book page about Iceman vs. Flash. Basically, its Iceman at his full potential(An Omega level mutant who is essentially an ice elemental now,meaning he needs no corporeal form but exists as an entity) vs. DC`s Flash(Fastest man alive. Thinks at a rate of attoseconds. Controls the speed force. Once went so fast he traveled through time) It was interesting then science was applied theorizing what if these characters existed. It was awesome and I actually learned more about the characters,themselves,and what they were capable of. At first, I stated that Flash would win,because he thinks faster than Bobby Drake(Iceman) can freeze things but then I realized that Iceman controls EVERY form of water/moisture/vapor at the subconscious level; mentally. Meaning Iceman can freeze the very blood or moisture in Flash`s veins. For that reason alone, I give the win to Iceman but... That doesnt mean Flash,in any other scenarios, wont have a chance. Many scenarios can play out. Flash can speed up to the point he can dry up the water around the area. Create a speed force generated hurricane to funnel Iceman into a place of extreme heat,like an active volcano,create a vacuum where oxygen is sucked out to neutralize Iceman. Flash still stands a chance but its slim to none against Iceman. They should have a TV show that applies science to comic book characters/story arcs,as well as science fiction. It would make for a very interesting show.
