Just had my photo shoot done with Corrie Lindroos Photography. Corrie has been asking to take my photo for over 2 years. My response to her has been, I dont want to remember this time in my life. Can we please wait?. Being so ever patient, she has not given up. When she called me a few months back to see if I was ready, I realized that this could be the last opportunity for Ryker and I to have photos all by ourselves, so I agreed. It was so hot, no wind. Sun was setting. There was about 2000 mosquitos (maybe even more...). Ryker was miserable and at one point took off into the woods crying. I pursuaded him back by holding a stick in one hand and promising to buy him a gift afterwards (yes, great parenting skills, I know). Kristin Mazzotti rolled in with her Stella and Dot collection, and loaded me up with the most beautiful vintage looking jewels I have ever seen. We laughed, I almost cried, Ryker DID cry and in the end she teased me and showed me her camera screen. Then I cried. They are beautiful. I cant wait to see the rest. Thank you girls - Im so excited.
