Just had the Fairpoint Internet installed on the phone line and it runs much faster then Hughesnet Satellite. If you go to Speakeasy.net you can test your download and upload speeds. When you bring up the Speakeasy web page click on speed test, then click on location closest to you, I click on New York, Mine shows a download speed of 1.52 Mbps and upload of .69 Mbps. After the first initial phone and internet bill (Will be higher the first as it is prorated) I should be paying about $77.00 a month for Phone/internet combo with my old unlimited long distance/voice mail package.
