Just had this in boxed to me from the Skipper of the Belle Dear Carol Turner, All your comments are all very one sided ! 1/ you were told or should have been told no way would the boat take 60 Px ! 2/ to abuse the the Staff and my self over a bloody free drink is out of oreder and to bring this up when we are comming of the morring in strong wind ! 3/ the boat was not late we were loading at 14.30 this it the time that was agreed by the office and myself, this also should have been past on to you! The Belle will never stick to times due to the flow of the river and tide! As for the load line on the boat it must neve go under water and any skipper has the right to stop the boat from leaving port! You are very lucky the boat left at all, I have also spoken with the owner Yen and with Terry. I hope next time they will listen to someone that has been in the business for many years! Unlike them! Customer are right but they can not go round attacking staff. The Harbour master has been asked to look into the over loading as well! On top of all this your safety of you and your friend always come first.
