Just have to brag on my amazing cat, Causter. Last week I mentioned I had a 9 pot herb planter- five had sprouted- four hadnt. Custer located the catnip even though it had not sprouted. Today I took off the remaining bubble wrap caps on the flour plants that hadnt yet sprouted- echinacea, shiso (a form of basily mint used in sushi), thai basil, and the catnip. None had sprouted yet- except for a single tiny plant- Custers mintlet- catnip. Fortunately for him- I purchased a 4 inch pot well underway last week. He darned near mauled it to death when i presented it to him. I have it over at his designated catnip patch, he visits it several times a day- it is in recovery. His favorite thing to do when it gets big is to lie under it and catnap.
