Just have to share a nice story! I was blown away by the kindness of New Zealanders in general, AirNewZealand is a wonderful company. AND kudos to the Australian Federal Police. I am embarrassed to say that I left my USA passport on an Air New Zealand plane yesterday (stupid I know, but I was really tired). I realized my horrible mistake after I was already on the plane to Adelaide. I wasnt 100% sure where I left it. Several people in Auckland and Nelson, NZ and the AFP at SYD airport went above and beyond the call of duty to track it down. A very sweet lady in Nelson called me tonight to say they found it. It turns out she knows my dear friend Stephanie McWhinnie and her lovely family in Nelson and Im going to get it back via a great friend travelling from Nelson to Adelaide. I am completely amazed at how kind and compassionate everyone was when clearly I was the one that made a very stupid mistake. Thank you!!
