Just heading home, they had a recovery meeting here at the hospital tonight. Its been awhile since I attended one , sure was nice to see some wonderful friends , just what I needed,,, and Rod was resting very peacefully when I left him,,, the tube apparently looks like it is still in place , thank you God !!! Anyways, I do encourage people to come visit ,, just pop in ten to fifteen minutes is perfect to keeping his attention,, if too long he starts feeling uncomfortable and starts singing silly songs to take up the awkward silence ,, I had a good chat with the patient coordinator and she went through his history of meds administered ,, quite scattered and no consistency,, she put a schedule together that she is passing on to staff,, hopefully this will keep him back in track ,. He is finally him sorta self ,, if that makes sense lol,, he was joking for a bit and smiling tonight before leaving , so Im feeling much better at going home now ,, huge hugs to all of you
