Just heard a lady calling Car Talk because she had sugar ants in her car. This is what I do for sugar ants and cockroaches anywhere and I have used it in the car. I think it is Dr. Baders. Ingredients: 1 cup of Borax 1/4 cup of dry bay leaves (I planted a bay leaf for this and this winter has been harsh on it :-( ) 1/4 cup of whole black pepper My way of doing it is putting the bay leaves and the whole pepper in a coffee grinder until they are a fine dust. Then put in a empty parmesan shaker with a top with the borax, close it and mix well. Shake in where you see the ants. Like may other natural solutions, it takes longer and it has some drawbacks. If you kill cockroaches you get to see them dead. The sugar ants are so small they seem to disappear. It is not instant, it takes some days. However it is VERY effective and I have not had issue with any pest since I use this. Its a keeper!
