Just heard a story where a woman was refused entry into a mosque - TopicsExpress

Just heard a story where a woman was refused entry into a mosque to pray. Without knowing the logistics of the incident, its a common trend amongst Muslims to bar females from mosques, when the Prophet (PBUH) explicitly said otherwise. Unfortunately we see it way too often these days, that to follow one ruling or hadeeth of the Prophet (PBUH) so passionately, many Muslims ignore all the other concerns, rulings and opinions regarding the very same matter. I fail to understand the logic that if the woman is a source of fitna for people praying in the mosque, surely she would be a greater fitna praying outside somewhere in the open, maybe even her safety and security would be more in jeopardy by her praying outside. To put this into context this story happened back in the West, not in a Muslim Country. I ask Allah to grant wisdom to all of us.
