Just heard about a new sleeping pill, belsomra that is to be - TopicsExpress

Just heard about a new sleeping pill, belsomra that is to be available later in 2014. Also a new study shows that less than 3 grams of salt a day (2.3 is the amt recommended now) is not healthy, and you should now consume 3-6 grams a day. This is one of my pet peeves. We are told we will die if we do certain things (no fat, low fat, now fatty meat is good for you, they can find no connection between fatty red meat or any food and cholesterol, think eggs???). We all need to be vegans (high protein diets are now recommended for diabetics, duh) It seems like we hear about these things every day. The Bible has the answer...all things in moderation. I will still watch salt consumption, but when my food pleases my taste buds, I will no longer worry. Nothing worse than food with no salt. As a diabetic who loves fruit and vegetables, it didnt take me long to figure out that unlimited amounts of these, is not wise. A lot of diabetics tell me I just eat fruit and vegetables, where do they get that? I challenge you to try high protein, limited fruit and veggies for a week and see if your diabetes glucose tests are better. Im sorry to rant, so I am quitting now. ;) Thank you for your time and attention.
