Just heard that Channing Tatum is in talks to play Gambit in a stand alone movie. What is WRONG with these people? Why why why ruin such an amazing character with a mediocre actor just because he can get chicks to the theater? I think we can all agree that the women who will go watch a Channing Tatum movie arent exactly the target X-Men audience. And Im talking about real X-Men fans that read the comics and dont just call themselves fans because they watched the movies and THINK they know something about the characters based on that. Yes, Im being a huge dorky snob. I dont care. This make-a-me angry! Tatum was good in 21 Jump Street but thats where he should stay and stop ruining our childhood heroes (i.e. GI Joe). Can someone explain this to me?
