Just heard that Microsoft is going to buy Nokia, but here is what you probably don’t know because you don’t have my high tech network. They have had their user centered design folks collaborating for days, yes days now, and discovered that no one really likes applets to invoke applications. They also discovered that retro is in so they are going to launch a flip phone, yes, you open the clam shell and it automatically turns on, that uses MS DOS. Here is an example of a simple command. COPY KAYLASPHONE:SIMMCARD/PERSONAL/PHONE/CONTACTS/Kayla DADSPHONE:SIMMCARDFAMILYPHONECONTACT*.* Notice you do not have to put the word TO in the syntax because the language is so naturally intuitive and that you use a forward slash for the and a back slash for the , again, a hyper user friendly ubiquitous syntax which will revolutionize how we interact with devices. But wait there is more… The phone is incredibly safe. People will no longer text in the car because the phone only has 10 keys and you depress as an example the key and then cycle through until you find the letter you want. If you pass the letter you want, no problem, keep pushing the key and it will come back. Kind of like an 8 track. Example a b c A B C 1 ?. So no one will try to do this and drive because it is nearly impossible there by rendering texting while driving obsolete. There is more, but I’m already going to get in trouble for reveling this much, so far ahead of the much anticipated announcement. Ok, one more thing. It has a 2.5 inch screen that displays ASCI text, again making the phone safe because none of those games you play can be converted to text only therefore you won’t play games in the car either. And this just out, it is possible people will start actually walking up to other people and talking to them and in fact rumor has it family dinners will now involve interacting with your family.
