Just how obvious are the liberal medias attempts to cover up Obamas scandals? Obvious enough that one of the biggest names on Fox News dedicated the opening of his show to discussing it. Last Wednesday, Bill O’Reilly used his Talking Points Memo to discuss the rampant liberal media bias found in the news coverage of scandals. O’Reilly used statistics from a study by the Media Research Center that exposed the shocking truth! The study revealed that the liberal media gave more air time to (NJ Republican) Governor Chris Christie’s bridge controversy in the first four days after it broke, than the VA scandal received in an entire month! The same is true for print media, as the big three liberal newspapers the New York Times, the LA Times, and the Washington Post combined printed 56 stories about Christie in the first week. In contrast, these papers only published three stories the first week the IRS scandal broke, and only two the first week of the VA scandal! If that’s not liberal media bias clear as day, we’re not sure what is. O’Reilly put it best when he said on his program that the liberal media are damaging our country and democracy by censoring the news. “...corruption in the media is greatly harming this nation....Theres no question the major national media in America is trying to protect President Obama....They know if they bury stories like the VA debacle, the IRS, Benghazi, Putin, whatever, that a negative perception about the Obama administration might not be formed....it is a shame that in a proud republic, in a vibrant democracy, the American press is so corrupt. It is a shame.” There is no better example of this than media efforts to cover up the IRS scandal.
