Just imagine if human beings decided to be kind, compassionate, respectful, tolerant, less greedy. Most of mans problem can be traced to other human beings. I think thats probably why Jesus decided to start a movement to change peoples hearts & minds. A movement meant to challenge mans treatment of man ( see Mathew 5, Luke 6). But authorities killed him & hijacked his movement, turned it into organised religion to further propagate the exploitation of the poor & underprivileged, the very thing he set out destroy. So now we got billions who hv memorised & internalised doctrines handed to them by their authorities. Hes been reduced to a mythical figure, the core of his movement forgotten & buried forever in history. The very authorities that persecuted him canonised him to appease the masses who had felt strongly abt him & his message. Early Christianity used to inspire rebellion, political awareness & dissent, the modern day, state controlled version inspires passiveness, indifference, apathy & sheepish behaviour. So r u a follower of Jesus or a follower of the mythical Jesus created by his murderers?
