Just in,,, Indian police open fire anti-India protests in Shopian..... Srinagar, September 11 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, several people were injured in Shopian, today, when Indian troops opened fire on demonstrators protesting against the killing of four civilians by Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the town on Saturday. Defying curfew, agitated people gathered in many parts of Shopian town and demanded removal of CRPF camp and arrest of the troops involved in the killing of youth. The strike continued in Shopian and Kulgam towns. On the other hand, People’s Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti was taken into preventive custody in Pulwama while she was on way to Shopian, said PDP chief spokesperson Nayeem Akhtar. Meanwhile, a principal of government higher secondary school was crushed to death when he was hit by a speedy tanker in Akhnoor in Jammu.
